No part of Victoria is more than 380 km from the sea. This opens some tremendous full day touring options using Melbourne as a base. Wilsons Promontory National Park, Otway and Port Campbell National Parks, The Alpine National Park, Lake Eildon National Park, Grampians National Park, Yarra Ranges National Park and many more too numerous to list.
